This is probably the single most concern of any mother after childbirth. During your pregnancy, you are worried about not putting on enough weight at the same time not wanting to put on too much weight.
Weight gain during pregnancy is a natural occurrence, losing the weight isn’t so natural for many mothers.
Here's what Amada, a mother of three children, had to share about her weight problem.
"My husband Joey and I have three children: a daughter, Bailee, who's 9 years old; a son, Brent, who's 7; and our youngest Bethany who's 4 years old. With each of the three pregnancies I gained the following weight (respectively): 35, 45, and 20 pounds, and in between each pregnancy it was the same story every time: try the newest fad diet".
If you are a mother who needs a little helping hand with your weight to regain your pre-pregnancy weight and figure, consider NutriSystem food plan.
"Finally, after the birth of my third child, I decided that I was just so tired of hopping from one diet to another. The thought of doing something radical and obsessing about calories, points, carb grams, or food groups was just way too overwhelming. I was ready to make a change—for good. The breaking point was when my oldest asked me to taste one bite of popcorn but I wouldn't because of its carb count. After I told her I "couldn't" she immediately jumped up and ran to the mirror and said, "Is this popcorn making me fat?" I realized I couldn't go on like that.
Both my mother-in-law and father-in-law had done NutriSystem and had phenomenal results. I kept looking at the site and reading all the reviews until something just clicked inside me that told me "this" was it. I ordered my food and the rest is history. I lost 35 pounds* with NutriSystem and have kept it off for years.
My absolute favorite thing about the program was the food! I swear it felt like Christmas every time the FedEx guy showed up. I loved anticipating my meals. It was so nice to actually get enjoyment out of eating again. Of course the whole ease of the program is worth its weight in gold. It was nice not to have to obsess about what I was eating, but merely pull out a packaged meal and eat it. The mental burden that was lifted was amazing".
I must admit that I did not use such food programs, but from what have read, it does sound like a good and interesting system. There is no dieting, no sticking to a rigid fixed meal plan or relying heavily on workout routine.
This food plan seems to allow you to enjoy a wide variety of delicious food and there is no need to starve your taste buds. The thing that attracted me is its changing food menu and best of all no food preparation. Simply heat and eat.
Juggling between caring for a baby and losing weight, I certainly would consider trying NutriSystem , it sounds safe, easy to implement and use, it is not routine and rigid. Most important, it would certainly save me time.
