Worried About Proper Care for You Baby?

   Why is my baby crying?
Is my baby running a fever?
Am I feeding my baby the right food stuff?
   Is my baby teething?
   Is my baby having Eczema?

These and many other questions are probably always on your mind? I had lots of questions about my first baby. Caring for your newborn is definitely not easy especially when you are new at it. You know what? It does get easier with time and experience. However, you can never be prepared for everything and each baby is different. My experience with both my kids were very different.

You could call your pediatrician for every doubt and worry but they are not always available to attend to your concerns. What is certain and helpful is to be informed and you do not need to jump every time your baby cries, just be patient, watchful and observant.

I absolutely recommend that you get a book or two on baby care, a baby book that clearly describes the baby's growth throughout the first year. A baby care book should also describe as many possible symptoms and problems your baby may face. By being informed, you can carefully monitor and care for your baby, know what to feed your baby. Many times you just need to be patient, stay calm and let your baby tell you how he or she is doing. If you are still in doubt, call your pediatrician.

I am sure there are many good baby books available in the market but I personally recommend this book by Heidi Murkoff, Arlene Eisenberg, and Sandee Hathaway - What to Expect the First Year, Second Ed. I had this book for both my babies and I am already refreshing my memory for my third pregnancy. I definitely give this book a five star rating!

I have recommended this book to many friends with newborns and they have found the book to be informative and helpful. This book is a must have for new mothers; for that matter, for any mother with a new born, it will definitely help you in times of doubts and worries.
