Your First Christmas with Your New Baby
You would probably be all excited about celebrating your first Christmas with your baby. Who wouldn't be? After all it is a special day and also a day of thanksgiving.
You probably have made a list of all the things to do like decorations, food preparations, guests to invite, gift for your baby. If you have the budget, you are probably thinking about the best things for your baby. I wouldn't blame you for it, your baby deserves the best and it is the best time to show off your beautiful baby.
If your baby is at a crawling age, here are some tips for you:
- Buy inexpensive ornaments; they probably will end up in your baby's mouth.
- Buy Christmas tree with a firm stand or your baby could use it as support and topple it.
- Buy ornaments without glitter; they are hard to remove from your baby's mouth.
- Ornaments should be unbreakable, you don't want your little precious to be hurt by it.

- If you plan on using candles to enhance the Christmas mood, place them on high places.
- Hang Christmas lights higher up the Christmas tree, you don't want your baby's mouth to be lighted up or used for squashing and chewing games especially when it is switched on.
- Put a train set around the Christmas tree and watch your little precious get all excited when the train goes behind the Christmas tree and appears again.
- On Christmas eve, if your baby is awake after dinner, take your family and baby out for a walk to see the celebrations, carolings and especially the lights.
- Last but not least, GET DADDY INVOLVED!
Keep these pointers in mind and you will have a great and wonderful Christmas experience with your new baby.
Have a very Merry Christmas and a Beautiful New Year with your baby! |
